Work Matters is a series of four public lectures on various career related topics taking place in Blanchardstown Library starting on 27th February. Each lecture is on a Monday evening with the final talk happening on 20th March. All lectures are free to attend but must be booked in advance by contacting Blanchardstown Library on 01 8905563. It is not necessary to attend all four talks and each lecture focuses on a different career related topic. 27th February - Philomena McCabe will give a lecture on the concept of resilience and how to maximise it. 6th March - Cliona Hillery will give a lecture on Career Planning through a self-assessment of one's own skills and personality. 13th March - Cliona Hillery will give a lecture on the Future of Work and the key trends and skills for the future. 20th March - Ayesha Thompson will lecture on how to use LinkedIn and how this professional social network can help advance your career.
