STEM Saturdays 2018

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) activities are increasingly important for understanding and engaging with emergent technologies and new opportunities. Fingal’s STEM Saturdays aim to inspire early scientific exploration, discovery, and learning amongst children. This STEM Saturday programme promises to be particularly exciting and will be filled with robots, Lego and coding! So come along and see R2D2 and Minecraft Creeper; witness some robots playing football and participate in some robotics workshops.

e2 Young Engineers will also be there with their tailor-made LEGO® kits, where children will be invited to work together to build and experiment with Lego.

The extremely popular Academy of Code will be around to provide demonstrations and short workshops on the engaging world of coding.

All these events are free and will take place between 10am and 4pm, on two successive Saturdays.

Saturday 24th November in Grove Road Atrium, Blanchardstown.

Saturday 1st December in County Hall Atrium, Swords.
