Centenary Funding

Centenary Funding applications have now closed.

Fingal County Council’s 1916 Centenary Community Funding Scheme

We aspire to support the strong willingness to engage in commemorating the role played by Fingallians in the events of 1916, which is evident among our community. To this end we supported individuals and groups to run events and projects as part of the Centenary Commemoration through the Centenary Fund.

As part of our 2016 Centenary Programme, the Community Culture and Sports Division introduced the Fingal 2016 Centenary Community Funding Scheme (CCFS) which assisted community and voluntary groups to play their part in commemorating the events of 1916.

The funding supported Projects, Activities or Events that fell under one or all of the 5 themes of the national event 2016/1916

  • Remember
  • Reconcile
  • Imagine/reimagine
  • Present
  • Celebration

The Funding Scheme launched in April 2015 has now closed
